On graphs and communication

Graph theoretic tools are helpful in the study of problems in Information Theory and Communication. I will illustrate this fact by a recent example obtained jointly with Sudakov and Moitra, where a construction of dense graphs consisting of pairwise edge disjoint large induced matchings is given and used to design an efficient communication protocol.
