The Centroid is a Reference Point for the Symmetric Difference in d Dimensions

Reference points are a simple yet powerful tool for getting approximate matches for shapes.

We show that the centroid is a reference point for the symmetric difference with loss factor smaller than 1 + 2d for convex figures under affine transformations. This generalizes an earlier result for two dimensions.
